Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market data to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessments for commercial and industrial clients
- Monitor existing credit portfolios and identify early warning signs of potential delinquencies
- Collaborate with loan officers to structure optimal credit facilities aligned with risk tolerance
- Stay current on industry regulations (GAAP, FASB) and compliance requirements
- Present findings to credit committees with clear, data-driven recommendations
- Contribute to process improvements in credit analysis workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling (Excel, Bloomberg)
- Credit certification (CRCM, CMB) preferred
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with credit risk software (e.g., Moody's Analytics, Fiserv)
- Knowledge of regional Ohio market dynamics
