- Prepare detailed credit memos with recommendations for loan approvals/declines
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early risk detection
- Collaborate with loan officers to structure credit solutions aligned with client needs
- Stay current on industry regulations and compliance requirements
- Utilize credit scoring models and financial analysis software
- Document all credit evaluations according to internal policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 2+ years of credit analysis or underwriting experience
- Proficiency in financial analysis software (e.g., Moody's Analytics, CreditEdge)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and credit risk assessment principles
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid California driver's license (client site visits required)
