Responsibilities
- Execute Transactions: Accurately process deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments while adhering to strict bank security policies and compliance regulations.
- Customer Service Excellence: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries regarding accounts and services, and resolve issues efficiently to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Asset Protection: Safeguard bank assets by managing cash drawers, balancing daily reports, and detecting and reporting any irregularities or fraud attempts immediately.
- Product Promotion: Identify customer needs and proactively cross-sell banking products such as CDs, savings accounts, and credit cards to drive branch revenue.
- Administrative Support: Maintain a neat and organized branch environment, assist in lobby management, and process incoming mail and correspondence.
- Compliance: Ensure all Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) procedures are followed during every transaction.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in a cash handling or customer service role is preferred but not required (training provided for qualified candidates).
- Skills: Strong mathematical aptitude with the ability to perform mental arithmetic quickly and accurately.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and approachable demeanor.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy when handling sensitive financial information and paperwork.
- Reliability: Must be trustworthy, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
