Core Responsibilities:

- Process customer transactions accurately, including cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients, answering inquiries, and resolving account issues efficiently.
- Identify and cross-sell banking products and services to meet branch sales goals.
- Adhere strictly to all bank policies, regulatory compliance (BSA/AML), and security protocols.
- Maintain accurate daily cash balances and reconcile the vault and teller drawer at the end of each shift.
- Assist in lobby operations, including opening and closing the branch and maintaining a professional environment.
- Assist in training junior staff and new tellers as required.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; some college or banking certification is a plus.
- Previous experience in cash handling, retail, or customer service preferred.
- Strong knowledge of basic math and the ability to handle large sums of money accurately.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in using Windows-based computer systems and POS terminals.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
