Responsibilities
- Execute daily cash transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
- Provide superior customer service by resolving account inquiries and explaining bank products and services.
- Open new accounts and assist existing customers with account maintenance and upgrades.
- Identify and refer sales opportunities to branch management to achieve branch targets.
- Maintain the Teller Cage area in an organized and secure manner, adhering to all bank policies and compliance regulations.
- Balance cash drawers daily and reconcile discrepancies promptly.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and professional environment for colleagues and customers alike.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business preferred.
- Previous experience as a Bank Teller or in a similar customer-facing financial role is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of basic math and cash handling procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to pass a background check and credit check as required by banking regulations.
- Proficiency with banking software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must be detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
