Responsibilities
- Process daily transactions including cash deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing accurately and efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries and resolving account-related issues.
- Cross-sell bank products such as savings accounts, CDs, and loans to meet branch goals.
- Verify and balance cash drawers at the end of each shift to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and secure branch environment.
- Follow all security protocols and compliance regulations (BSA/AML) to prevent fraud.
- Assist customers with basic technical banking inquiries and digital onboarding.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required; prior banking experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to handle cash with high accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills.
- Must pass a background check and obtain a Notary Public commission if required.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
