Responsibilities
- Process customer deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments accurately and efficiently.
- Issue cashier’s checks, money orders, and savings bonds.
- Cash checks and handle foreign currency transactions.
- Resolve customer inquiries and account issues with patience and professionalism.
- Cross-sell bank products and services to meet client financial goals.
- Maintain accurate daily cash balances and reconcile the teller drawer.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and secure branch environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; some college or banking certification is a plus.
- Previous experience in cash handling, customer service, or retail is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle large sums of money accurately.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn banking software quickly.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
