Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with daily banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and account inquiries.
- Process new account openings, loan applications, and CD renewals efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure accurate cash handling and daily reconciliation of the teller drawer.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities to introduce customers to our suite of financial products and services.
- Adhere to all federal and state banking regulations, including Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) protocols.
- Maintain a professional and organized workspace while assisting multiple customers during peak hours.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; prior experience in a customer service or banking role is preferred.
- Strong mathematical aptitude with a proven track record of accuracy in cash handling.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse clientele.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Basic computer proficiency and the ability to quickly learn new banking software systems.
