Responsibilities
- Process Payroll: Manage the end-to-end payroll cycle for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Tax Compliance: Prepare and file federal, state, and local payroll tax returns and reports in compliance with FLSA and state laws.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and payroll history files.
- Issue Resolution: Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile payroll bank accounts and general ledger accounts monthly.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive payroll experience.
- Software: Proficient in ADP Workforce Now or Paychex Flex; experience with SAP SuccessFactors or Ceridian Dayforce is a plus.
- Education: Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or HR, or equivalent work experience.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of payroll tax laws, FLSA regulations, and benefits administration.
- Skills: Advanced Excel skills and exceptional attention to detail.
