Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and resolving account issues promptly.
- Manage cash drawers with precision, balancing daily transactions and reporting any discrepancies immediately.
- Cross-sell bank products and services to meet branch sales targets and assist customers in achieving their financial goals.
- Adhere to all banking security protocols, anti-money laundering (AML) regulations, and internal compliance standards.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and professional branch environment.
- Collaborate with the branch manager and team to optimize operational workflows.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience as a Bank Teller or in a customer service role is preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to perform mental calculations accurately.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must pass a background check and credit check.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and point-of-sale systems.
