Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing exceptional customer service and answering inquiries.
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily transactions to ensure accuracy.
- Identify and cross-sell bank products and services to meet customer needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and adhere to all banking security and compliance regulations.
- Assist in opening new accounts and processing account closures as needed.
- Resolve customer issues and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; completion of a banking certification program is a plus.
- Previous cash handling and customer service experience is preferred but not required (we train).
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to perform mental arithmetic quickly and accurately.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Attention to detail and high level of integrity and trustworthiness.
- Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.
