Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cashing checks, processing deposits, and withdrawals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by understanding their financial needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Maintain accurate cash drawers and reconcile daily settlement reports to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Identify and cross-sell bank products such as savings accounts, CDs, and credit cards to meet branch goals.
- Adhere to all banking regulations, security protocols, and internal policies to ensure compliance.
- Assist with lobby operations, including answering phone inquiries and managing customer queues.
- Perform account maintenance tasks, such as processing account openings and loan payments.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; prior banking experience is a plus.
- Strong mathematical skills and a keen eye for detail to handle cash handling with precision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn banking software quickly.
- Must be willing to submit to a background check and credit check as part of the hiring process.
