Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 business clients across various industries
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing processes
- Prepare financial statements, profit/loss reports, and tax documentation packages
- Implement and maintain QuickBooks Online systems with customized workflows
- Collaborate with CFOs and tax professionals on financial strategy and compliance
- Train junior bookkeepers on best practices and regulatory requirements
- Optimize financial reporting processes using Excel and accounting software
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Advanced QuickBooks Online certification and proficiency in accounting software
- Expertise in GAAP principles and Arizona tax regulations
- Proven track record of managing multi-client accounting portfolios
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail for complex financial data
- Strong communication abilities to advise clients on financial health
- Experience with construction or real estate accounting preferred
