Responsibilities
- Process Transactions: Accurately and efficiently handle cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments for customers.
- Customer Service: Provide superior service to all customers by greeting them warmly, answering inquiries, and resolving account issues promptly.
- Cash Management: Perform daily cash reconciliations and balance the teller drawer at the end of each shift to ensure accuracy.
- Sales & Service: Proactively identify cross-selling opportunities and promote our financial products, such as savings accounts and credit cards.
- Security Compliance: Adhere to all bank security policies and procedures, including Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations and anti-money laundering (AML) laws.
- Support: Assist in branch operations, including opening and closing procedures, and supporting the branch manager with daily tasks.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Finance or Business preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience as a Bank Teller or in a customer service role with cash handling responsibilities.
- Skills: Strong numeracy skills and proficiency in basic math; excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse clientele.
- Technology: Comfortable using computer systems, ATMs, and other banking software.
- Integrity: Must possess a high level of ethical standards and trustworthiness.
