Responsibilities
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations and company policies.
- Monitor changes in regulatory legislation and interpret their impact on company operations.
- Develop and maintain robust compliance programs and internal control systems.
- Investigate potential violations of company policy or law and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare and submit detailed compliance reports to executive management and regulatory bodies.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance-related topics and best practices.
- Collaborate with legal, HR, and operations departments to ensure seamless compliance integration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g., FINRA, SEC, or general compliance standards).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to pass background checks and complete the paid training curriculum.
- Self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to obtain relevant compliance certifications (paid for by employer).
