Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and professionally, answering their banking questions with patience and accuracy.
- Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and account transfers efficiently.
- Handle cash and check transactions with strict adherence to bank security and compliance protocols.
- Sell and cross-sell bank products such as savings accounts, certificates of deposit, and credit cards.
- Maintain accurate daily reconciliation of cash drawers and transaction records.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and refer complex customer needs to Relationship Managers.
- Ensure strict adherence to all bank policies, federal regulations, and audit requirements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; prior teller experience is preferred.
- Strong basic math skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer service.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with banking software.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and successful completion of a background check.
