Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately, including cash withdrawals, deposits, and check cashing.
- Assist customers with account inquiries, balance inquiries, and product information.
- Open new accounts and explain product features to clients.
- Identify and cross-sell bank products and services to meet sales goals.
- Resolve customer issues and complaints with patience and professionalism.
- Balance daily cash drawers and reconcile transactions.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; some college coursework in finance or business is preferred.
- Previous experience as a bank teller or in a customer service role is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on accuracy.
- Fraud detection and risk management awareness.
- Must pass a background check and credit check.
