Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
- Cash checks and verify the authenticity of all documents.
- Provide excellent customer service by resolving account inquiries and handling complaints professionally.
- Balance the cash drawer daily to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Identify and cross-sell bank products and services to meet branch goals.
- Assist with account maintenance, including opening and closing accounts.
- Keep the teller line moving efficiently during peak hours.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Previous experience as a Bank Teller or in a retail/cash handling role is preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must pass a background check and credit check.
- Basic computer proficiency and typing skills.
