Responsibilities
- Process daily financial transactions, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing, ensuring strict accuracy.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries, resolving complaints, and assisting clients with account inquiries.
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily reports to ensure all funds match system records.
- Identify and cross-sell bank products and services to meet customer needs and branch goals.
- Assist in maintaining the security of the branch, including surveillance monitoring and ATM maintenance.
- Process loan payments and assist with account closures or opening new accounts as directed.
- Stay updated on bank policies, regulatory compliance, and new software updates.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Finance or related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, or banking preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to perform mental arithmetic quickly and accurately.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency with computers and basic software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, banking teller software).
- Must pass a background check and pre-employment screening.
