Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries, resolving account issues, and cross-selling bank products.
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily reports with precision and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure teller workstation.
- Assist with branch operations, including lobby management and marketing initiatives.
- Identify and refer customers for additional financial products to meet branch sales goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; prior banking or cash-handling experience is preferred.
- Strong numerical skills and the ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and some evening hours.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and banking software (e.g., FIS, Jack Henry).
