Responsibilities
- Process routine transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments with 100% accuracy
- Provide personalized customer service by identifying financial needs and recommending appropriate products/services
- Maintain strict adherence to security protocols and compliance regulations for all banking operations
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily transactions to ensure branch operational integrity
- Assist with resolving customer inquiries and escalate complex issues to branch management
- Actively promote digital banking solutions and educate customers on self-service options
- Collaborate with team members to achieve branch sales targets and customer satisfaction goals
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in finance/business preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in cash handling or customer service role
- Proficiency with banking software and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail with transaction accuracy
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with diverse clientele
- Ability to multitask efficiently in fast-paced branch environment
- Must pass background check and maintain clean credit history
- Basic knowledge of financial regulations (Regulation E, BSA, etc.)
