Responsibilities

  • Process Transactions: Accurately and efficiently handle cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and account transfers for customers.
  • Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries about bank products and services, and resolve issues with professionalism and patience.
  • Sales Support: Proactively identify cross-selling opportunities to promote our credit cards, loans, and investment products to existing clients.
  • Security & Compliance: Adhere to all bank security protocols, including Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations and anti-money laundering (AML) guidelines.
  • ATM & Equipment Maintenance: Monitor and replenish cash in ATMs and handle currency reconciliations and end-of-day balancing.
  • Account Maintenance: Assist customers with opening new accounts, processing stop payments, and updating personal information.
  • Problem Solving: Address customer concerns and escalate complex issues to the Branch Manager or Operations Manager when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of cash handling experience in a retail or banking environment is required.
  • Skills: Strong math skills and the ability to handle large sums of cash with 100% accuracy.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts simply.
  • Technology: Proficient in using bank software, ATMs, and point-of-sale systems; quick learner regarding new technology.
  • Integrity: Must possess a high level of honesty, discretion, and trustworthiness.
