Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients, answering inquiries, and resolving account issues efficiently.
- Open new accounts and assist customers with product education and cross-selling opportunities.
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily transactions to ensure strict accuracy.
- Maintain strict adherence to bank security policies, compliance regulations, and operational procedures.
- Identify and escalate potential fraud or suspicious activities immediately.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; prior banking experience is preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to handle cash transactions with high accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as required.
- Must pass a background check, credit check, and regulatory compliance training.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus for our Houston location.
