Responsibilities
- Process daily transactions (deposits, withdrawals, transfers) with 100% accuracy and efficiency
- Build rapport with clients to identify financial needs and cross-sell appropriate products/services
- Maintain secure cash handling procedures and daily reconciliation of accounts
- Resolve customer inquiries regarding account balances, policies, and digital banking tools
- Uphold strict regulatory compliance (BSA, AML) and security protocols
- Collaborate with branch colleagues to ensure seamless client experiences
- Contribute to branch goals through proactive service and relationship building
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in finance preferred
- Minimum 1 year cash handling or customer service experience
- Proven ability to manage cash drawer with perfect reconciliation
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent verbal communication and conflict resolution skills
- Basic proficiency with banking software (e.g., Fiserv, Jack Henry)
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments while maintaining professionalism
- New Mexico residency required (for regulatory compliance)
