Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing.
- Greet customers warmly and provide superior customer service to enhance the overall banking experience.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and reconcile cash drawers at the end of each shift.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities to promote bank products and services to existing clients.
- Assist in opening new accounts and answering routine customer inquiries regarding account balances and services.
- Adhere to all bank policies, security procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous cash handling experience in a retail or banking environment is preferred.
- Strong math skills with the ability to handle money accurately under time pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required.
