Responsibilities
- Review, verify, and process incoming invoices for accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare and issue payments to vendors via check, electronic transfer, or ACH.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and financial reporting support.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external vendors regarding payment status.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 1-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or General Ledger accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage a high volume of transactions.
