Responsibilities
- Review and verify invoices for accuracy, proper coding, and necessary approvals.
- Process and post payments via ACH, wire transfers, and checks.
- Manage vendor relationships and resolve billing discrepancies or inquiries.
- Prepare and maintain Accounts Payable aging reports and sub-ledgers.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and financial reconciliation.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
- Utilize ERP systems to track transactions and generate reports.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Experience with accounting software such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, or Sage.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect errors in large data sets.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet weekly deadlines.
