Responsibilities
- Process and verify high volumes of invoices for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or billing errors promptly.
- Manage and maintain accurate vendor records, including W-9s and banking information.
- Utilize AP software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) to input data, generate checks, and process payments.
- Assist with month-end close procedures, including accruals and account reconciliation.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments regarding payment status and invoice questions.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience in Accounts Payable or a related accounting role.
- Proficiency with accounting software, specifically QuickBooks Online or Desktop, is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and functions).
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to detect errors in data entry.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
