Responsibilities
- Invoice Processing: Accurately receive, verify, and process a high volume of invoices within the designated weekend payment cycle.
- Vendor Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries, resolving discrepancies and ensuring timely payments.
- Reconciliation: Perform daily and weekly reconciliations of AP sub-ledgers to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- PO Matching: Strictly match Purchase Orders (POs) to Receiving Reports (GRNs) and Invoices to prevent duplicate or incorrect payments.
- Report Generation: Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and variance analysis.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial transactions adhere to company policies and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable or General Ledger accounting.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks.
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail with the ability to spot errors and rectify them without supervision.
- Availability: Must be available to work a Weekend Shift (Saturday and Sunday) from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with vendors and internal teams.
