Responsibilities
- Process and verify high-volume invoices for accuracy, completeness, and authorization.
- Prepare and issue payments via check, ACH, and wire transfers in a timely manner.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies or exceptions efficiently.
- Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems for all financial documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports and audits.
- Communicate proactively with vendors regarding payment status and inquiries.
- Perform general accounting clerical duties and data entry as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience in Accounts Payable or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors in large datasets.
- Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced weekend environment.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotational or fixed schedule.
