Responsibilities
- Invoice Processing: Accurately receive, code, and post invoices in our ERP system (SAP/NetSuite) within 24 hours of receipt.
- Vendor Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for vendors, resolving discrepancies and answering inquiries regarding payments.
- Reconciliation: Perform daily and weekly bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accounted for and balances match.
- Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and variance analysis for the finance manager.
- Expense Management: Review and approve employee expense reports and travel vouchers for compliance with company policy.
- System Maintenance: Maintain the AP master file, ensuring vendor data is current and accurate.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of verifiable experience in Accounts Payable.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and experience with accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks preferred).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and ensure data integrity in high-volume processing environments.
- Availability: Must be available to work a consistent weekend schedule (e.g., Saturday and Sunday) with weekday off.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
