Responsibilities
- Process and verify high-volume invoices for accuracy, completeness, and approval.
- Manage the end-to-end accounts payable cycle, including data entry and payment execution.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Communicate with vendors to clarify invoices and resolve payment issues.
- Ensure all weekend financial reports are up-to-date and filed correctly.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial audits as needed.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems for all financial records.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of verifiable experience in Accounts Payable or General Accounting.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines during weekend shifts.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Finance or Accounting is a plus.
