Responsibilities
- Review, code, and process high-volume vendor invoices with a high degree of accuracy during weekend shifts.
- Reconcile accounts payable statements, resolve discrepancies, and communicate effectively with vendors.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls regarding financial reporting.
- Maintain and update the vendor master database with current information and tax documentation.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes by preparing accruals and adjusting entries.
- Utilize ERP systems to generate reports and analyze spending patterns.
- Handle inquiries from internal departments regarding invoice status and payment terms.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or QuickBooks) is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and data entry accuracy.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
