Job Overview
We are looking for a proactive individual to manage our accounts payable operations, ensuring timely vendor payments and accurate financial reconciliation. You will be the backbone of our weekend operations, handling everything from invoice processing to vendor communication.
Responsibilities
- Process and verify high-volume vendor invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
- Enter and code invoices into the ERP system (SAP/Oracle) with precision.
- Prepare and execute weekly ACH and wire transfers for the weekend processing window.
- Reconcile vendor statements and maintain a clean, up-to-date accounts payable ledger.
- Communicate effectively with vendors regarding payment status and resolving discrepancies.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and ad-hoc financial reporting tasks.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of verifiable experience in Accounts Payable.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during weekends.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
