In this role, you will take ownership of the financial integrity of our operations by managing the end-to-end accounts payable cycle specifically for the weekend shift. Responsibilities
- Process high-volume invoices and purchase orders accurately and efficiently during weekend hours.
- Verify invoice accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and ensure proper coding and approvals.
- Reconcile vendor statements and maintain accurate vendor files.
- Assist in the preparation of month-end and year-end financial reports.
- Communicate with vendors regarding billing inquiries and payment status.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
- Perform month-end close activities to ensure financial statements are up to date.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or similar financial roles.
- Strong proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday).
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
