Responsibilities
- Process and verify high-volume vendor invoices for accuracy, coding, and compliance within strict weekend deadlines.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Manage the full-cycle AP function for assigned accounts, including data entry, matching, and posting.
- Support month-end and quarter-end close procedures by preparing accruals and aging reports.
- Respond professionally to vendor inquiries regarding payment status and invoice details.
- Maintain accurate records in the accounting system (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, or SAP).
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of verifiable experience in Accounts Payable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Experience with ERP accounting software (NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle preferred).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect errors in data entry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating or fixed schedule.
