Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies and approved budgets.
- Ensure timely and accurate payment to vendors while maintaining accurate vendor records.
- Reconcile accounts payable subsidiary ledgers to the general ledger accounts.
- Communicate effectively with vendors regarding billing status, discrepancies, and payment schedules.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Assist in internal audits and compliance reviews as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- 1-3 years of verifiable experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks) is required.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data entry).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
