Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy and coding against purchase orders (3-way matching).
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Manage the AP workflow in our ERP system, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Communicate effectively with vendors regarding payment status and inquiries.
- Assist in month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals and financial reporting.
- Maintain and organize AP files, both digital and physical, for audit readiness.
- Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle high volumes of transactions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
- Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
