Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness before posting to the general ledger.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or billing errors efficiently.
- Prepare and manage weekly or monthly payment runs, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Maintain and update the accounts payable aging report and vendor master files.
- Communicate effectively with vendors regarding invoice status and payment inquiries.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes with a focus on AP reconciliation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-4 years of hands-on experience in Accounts Payable.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero, or SAP).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables required).
- Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to work independently and manage a high volume of transactions during the night shift.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
