Responsibilities
- Invoice Management: Accurately receive, review, and process high volumes of invoices for payment in a timely manner.
- Vendor Reconciliation: Reconcile vendor statements, resolve billing discrepancies, and maintain accurate vendor records.
- Account Maintenance: Maintain up-to-date and accurate accounts payable ledgers and general ledger entries.
- Compliance & Audits: Ensure all transactions comply with company policies and applicable accounting standards.
- Reporting Support: Assist in month-end and year-end close processes by preparing necessary reports and reconciliations.
- Communication: Professionally communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries and status updates.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Software Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and formulas).
- Availability: Must be available and willing to work rotating night shifts.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
