Responsibilities
- Process and verify incoming invoices for accuracy, completeness, and authorization.
- Enter and code invoices into the financial system (SAP/QuickBooks) and ensure proper coding.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any billing discrepancies or errors promptly.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor master records.
- Assist with month-end close procedures, including accruals and adjustments.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on accounts payable status.
- Communicate with internal departments and external vendors regarding payment inquiries.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and formulas).
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
