Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll for 15+ clients
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with analytical commentary
- Implement and optimize accounting systems using QuickBooks Online
- Conduct month-end and year-end closing procedures with precision
- Provide tax documentation support and collaborate with external auditors
- Develop financial reports to inform strategic business decisions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required (CPA/CMA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks
- Expertise in GAAP principles and multi-state tax compliance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Proven track record of managing complex financial portfolios
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication abilities for client interactions and reporting
