Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable with a focus on timely collections and payments.
- Perform bank reconciliations and variance analysis to identify discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and local compliance audits.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve internal controls and operational efficiency.
- Provide detailed financial reports to management to support decision-making processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and MS Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and local Colorado tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
