Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 diverse client portfolios using QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Prepare month-end financial statements with variance analysis and reconciliations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and tax compliance
- Implement internal controls and process improvements to enhance efficiency
- Collaborate with CFOs on financial forecasting and strategic advisory
- Train junior bookkeepers on best practices and software optimization
Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience in public accounting or finance
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Microsoft Excel
- CPA certification or equivalent advanced accounting degree preferred
- Proven ability to manage high-volume transactions with 99.9% accuracy
- Strong knowledge of California tax regulations and GAAP standards
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail in financial reporting
