Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including journal entries and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and review financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L) for accuracy.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable cycles efficiently.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings.
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Reconcile credit card statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Support the finance manager with budget analysis and forecasting.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in general ledger accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero accounting software.
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation is a plus.
- Strong understanding of US tax laws and financial reporting standards.
