Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 50+ client portfolios including A/P, A/R, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for executive leadership
- Oversee payroll processing using ADP and ensure compliance with MA labor regulations
- Coordinate quarterly tax filings and annual audits with external CPA firms
- Implement and maintain internal controls for SOX compliance
- Lead month-end closing processes with strict deadlines
- Maintain QuickBooks Enterprise and Microsoft Dynamics 365 data integrity
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive bookkeeping experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise and Microsoft Excel (VBA a plus)
- Proven experience with multi-state tax compliance and payroll processing
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP and IRS regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-error tolerance
- Strong analytical skills with ability to identify financial discrepancies
- Boston-based candidates with local market knowledge preferred
