Responsibilities
- General Ledger Management: Oversee daily financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in the general ledger and maintaining up-to-date financial records.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage the full cycle of AP and AR processes, including invoice processing, bank reconciliations, and collections.
- Payroll Oversight: Assist in the payroll process, ensuring all tax filings and compliance requirements are met accurately.
- Compliance & Audits: Coordinate with external auditors and ensure all regulatory compliance requirements are satisfied.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows and implement best practices for efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all tasks.
- Integrity: Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive financial information with the highest level of confidentiality.
