Responsibilities
- Process high-volume invoices, ensuring timely payment and vendor compliance
- Reconcile accounts payable ledger with bank statements and GL accounts
- Resolve payment discrepancies through vendor communication and research
- Implement process improvements for AP efficiency and cost reduction
- Assist in month-end closing and financial reporting activities
- Maintain organized digital and physical documentation for audits
- Collaborate with procurement and treasury teams on payment strategies
Qualifications
- 3+ years of accounts payable experience in a corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- AP certification (CAPP or similar) preferred
- Ability to handle confidential financial data with discretion
