Responsibilities
- Review and process invoices for accuracy and completeness in a timely manner.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or billing errors.
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments to clarify invoice details.
- Maintain accurate and organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial records.
- Assist in the month-end closing process and preparing accruals.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle) to input data and generate reports.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Previous internship experience or coursework in accounting is highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect errors and discrepancies.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
