Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness before payment authorization.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Manage the Accounts Payable general ledger accounts and maintain audit trails.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and financial reporting.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments regarding billing inquiries.
- Utilize accounting software to ensure timely payment schedules.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or Finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- High attention to detail with the ability to spot errors in large datasets.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a high-volume environment.
